A (late) Update!

Hello everyone! 

So, it's been a hot minute hasn't it? I apologize for not doing these regularly. Between my injury, doctors, writing, and general life stuff it's been quite the whirlwind ride these past few months. In any case, I wanted to share an update about the game and it's a pretty big update. Firstly, I must give a huge thanks to Starline Arts who has been pivotal in helping me recreate the image of this game and bring it to life far better than I had done while rushing around like a mad-woman during the game jam. 

Thank you thank you so much! I am super happy about all that we've done thus far and I feel ten times more confident about this version. 

Alright, onto the changes. The new version will feature only Kali (for those that may not remember, she used to be a choice between three other characters. Those choices no longer exist.); she is an Animalia -a race with animal features (Original, hu? Lol! I know... maybe one day I'll come up with a better name >.>) 

Cities have undergone huge changes and have been rebuilt pretty much from the ground up. With Starline's immense help, the story line has been tightened up and flows smoother than before. I'm not saying it's perfect because nothing is ever perfect; only that it's definitely much better than before. 

Items have been edited and slimmed down to a more manageable and reasonable list. 

Weapons have been edited and will now feature a simple upgrade system.

That is about it thus far. When we have a viable, working demo, I'll remove the old version of Askaria and replace it with the new one. I don't have a estimated time for that though. In short, I wanted to let people know who might still be interested in the game and the story that I am working on it along with a friend who has been so helpful throughout. Most importantly, that the game has not been forgotten.
